Castle Ave is an awesome block in South Philadelphia, off of Broad Street.  These houses are big, and can be expensive to heat and cool.  Luckily, I was introduced to the homeowners by a friend who helped me get my business started – ends up these guys (Jacob Smith and his wife Meghan) run an internet marketing firm and I was able to get this website going with their help.

Their roof is long and flat, but in need of extensive minor repairs, flashing work, etc.  The coating goes on in a week or two, and I’ll be reporting back on the cooling different from the normally stifling third floor.  Hopefully we can help Jacob and Meghan turn off those window A/C units as we cool the house by reflecting solar energy away from it.
