Be Cool Roof Coatings was formed in the Spring of 2011 and has coated over 50 roofs in Philadelphia, including the widely publicized cool roof project for Mayor Nutter’s “coolest block” competition.

Based in West Philadelphia, the company is owned by Rory Stout, a young and energetic college-educated Jersey native who found his calling in cool roofing after volunteering in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
